Increased Lifecycle Revenue from £30k/month to £99k/month

How we scaled Proper Pasty Company's lifecycle revenue from £30k to £99k a month by rebuilding flows, launching SMS from zero and turning campaigns into weekly mini-launches.

The Challenge

Lifecycle was barely contributing. One or two basic campaigns a month, no structure, no flows, no sign-up forms, and no SMS at all. Most of the list wasn't engaging, and repeat purchases leaned almost entirely on paid traffic and existing habit. The foundations simply weren't there.

Goals We Set Together

  • Build the lifecycle foundations from the ground up

  • Turn flows into a consistent, dependable revenue baseline

  • Restart stalled list growth with stronger forms

  • Launch SMS as a new revenue stream from zero

  • Move from sporadic sends to a proper campaign calendar

Our Approach

We rebuilt the foundations first, then scaled output.

  1. Flow Rebuild. No automations were running, so we designed and launched high-converting versions of the core revenue drivers (Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Checkout, Browse, Post-Purchase and Winback). These started generating consistent revenue within the first month.

  2. List Growth. With no forms in place, growth had stalled. We built new mobile-optimised forms with a stronger offer, converting at 9.4% and driving thousands of new subscribers in the first few weeks.

  3. SMS From Zero. The SMS list was exactly zero. We launched compliant collection points, built the audience, and integrated SMS into both campaigns and flows, instantly lifting abandoned checkout recovery and opening a new revenue stream.

  4. Campaign Strategy. We replaced one or two basic monthly sends with a proper calendar at three to four sends a week, every one fully designed and on-brand. With engagement and deliverability climbing, each send started performing like a mini-launch, going from £8k a month in total to £2k to £8k per campaign.

The Results

Over six months, Proper Pasty Company increased lifecycle revenue by 3.46x.

  • £30k/month → £99k/month in lifecycle revenue

  • +£377,000 in total top-line revenue, an extra £62,000 a month on average

  • 40,000+ new subscribers added

  • Sign-up forms converting at 9.4%

  • SMS launched from zero and built into campaigns and flows
